Vancouver School of Theology is hosting "Encountered by the Holy," the 2026 O’Driscoll Forum on Preaching and the Arts, on June 14-15, 2026.
This two-day gathering will explore how encounters with the holy shape preaching, worship, music, storytelling, and public life through worship, lectures, conversation, and artistic practice.
The forum features Craig Barnes and Julian Davis Reid, founder of Notes of Rest®, alongside guest sages including Will Willimon, Sally A. Brown, Paul Scott Wilson, James Henry Harris, and Stephen Farris.
Two free public events are also open to the wider community:
- Sunday, June 14 at 7 pm - Notes of Rest® Concert with Julian Davis Reid
- Monday, June 15 at 7 pm - Seeking Beauty and Truth Public Lecture with Craig Barnes
