Brian Evans Appointed Diocesan Stewardship Officer

Bishop Logan McMenamie has announced the appointment of The Ven Brian Evans as diocesan stewardshp officer, effective September 11, 2017. This appointment is part of a diocesan effort (as affirmed by Synod and directed by Diocesan Council) to develop a long-term financial sustainability plan for the diocese (including its forty-five parishes). 

As the former long-time rector of St Paul in Nanaimo and archdeacon, Brian comes with a comprehensive understanding of the diocese and a proven record in stewardship education and fundraising campaigns. He has earned the respect of both laity and clergy in the diocese and across the country.  Brian will become a member of synod staff and work from Nanaimo.
