Knitted Together in Mystery

Join us as we explore what it means to be at home with God, self and neighbour. As faith detectives, we'll investigate holy encounters in scripture, our own lives and in the world. During worship, gather with Mary and Martha, Ruth and Naomi, the Syro-Phonecian woman and her daughter, along with a host of others. Bring your yard, deer stalker and magnifying glass as we engage in spirited sleuthing.

FACILITATORS

Dawna Wall is priest at St Michael and All Angels in Victoria and archdeacon of the Selkirk region. Her favourite sleuths include Mary Russell, Maisie Dobbs, Inspector Gamache and Commisario Guido Brunetti. She aspires to be as well dressed and organized as Nancy Drew.

Annalise Wall was a 2018 Selkirk synod member, is a member of the Diocesan Youth Council, a contributor for the Diocesan Post, and a mystery enthusiast. She particularly admires Miss Marple’s calm sleuthing and knitting prowess.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR

Elizabeth Welch is priest at St George the Martyr in Victoria. Her family’s dog and three cats create a continual stream of mysteries to be solved. After seeing one cat knockfood off the counter into the dog’s mouth, she suspects all four animals are working together. The mystery yet to be solved—how did she allow the animals to outnumber the humans in her house?
