Located at the Multifaith chapel at the University of Victoria, the Anglican Campus Ministry offers diverse programs that are free and available to everyone (UVic students, staff, and members of the wider community are welcome to attend). The Anglican Campus ministry is part of the Anglican Diocese of Islands and Inlets (aka Diocese of British Columbia) and UVic Multifaith Services.
The Anglican Campus Ministry at UVic strives to offer inclusive and engaging programming both on-campus and off. Our goal is to offer opportunities that will help nourish the spiritual lives of those affiliated with the UVic community, including those who identify as Anglican, Christian, or the "spiritual but not religious" demographic. We are also seeking to build community with those of other faith traditions.
Join us throughout the week as we gather for programs such as the Pet Cafe, the Interfaith Student Association, Taize, Meditating with the Mystics, Wine Before Supper (an ecumenical Communion service followed by a simple meal), labyrinth events, centering prayer retreats, truth and reconciliation workshops, and the weekly Sundays@5 gathering at St. George the Martyr Anglican Church in Cadboro Bay.
